Well, well, well, the time is almost here! Tour time! We’re about 2 weeks away – and getting more and more excited by the minute. We’ve been rehearsing like crazy, literally cramming every free moment into it, and we have some really amazing things prepared. As you know we will be touring with Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys, as well as Jaggery . We’ll be starting the tour in our hometown NYC at Tommy’s Tavern on Friday, December 11th. We then head to Boston on Saturday, December 12th for an invite only show. This show is one we’re extra excited for! If you live in Boston and would like an invite – email me at:JessicaAllynMusic@gmail.com So I can get your name on the list before it gets closed out. After Boston, we head to Philadelphia on Sunday, December 13th (the last day of tour for us) – where we will play The Fire. And then it’s back to New York – and back to reality.

As you already know – we have a fund raiser going for this tour. We need a lot of help. We’ve only managed to raise about $90 in the last 2 weeks (which is GREAT! – but we still need more.) We really don’t want to miss out of this tour – we’ve waited so long. And we’ve all busted our asses to get here. I took a part-time job to make enough money to have my car fixed up before tour – which covered that expense. But we still need money for tolls, food, etc. And we have INCREDIBLE prizes in exchange for you donations. Including a dvd made by our very own Jason. We will also be give everyone who donates a chance to download “Nigeria” our first single off our upcoming record “Delusions of Grandeur” before it’s released to the public.

So here is how it works:

- Anyone who donates over $5 will get “I Am a Camera” our first EP that was released back in April as well as the two LIVE EP’s, and a pre-order for our “LIVE @ Shea Stadium” EP (when it arrives.) All for download!!!!

- $10-$20 will get you “I Am a Camera”, the THREE LIVE (Live @ Shea w/ pre-order) Ep’s, AND a pre-order on our new cd “Delusion of Grandeur.” (Release date TBA) for download.
You will hear it before anyone else does!!!

- Anything above $20 will receive all of the above, and a dvd of our “Best of” Live 2009 (created by our magical drummer Jason!!)
And HEY – I may even throw in a signed physical copy of “I Am a Camera”

After tour, sadly, the band will be taking a brief hiatus. I have to take time to get my shit together, I need to return to cubicle hell, and get a substantial full-time job to pay off all my debt. We will still continue to record the album on weekends, and up until I get a job. We will also continue to play shows, just not as many. It’s a real bummer, but it has to be done. This year beat me to death, and I kept getting back up, and I will continue to get back up no matter how many times I get knocked down. That’s why it is so important we make it on this tour, and raise to money for this tour. It’s bittersweet. I’ve dreamed of this moment – I dreamed of touring with my band, and living the real rock and roll life! And I finally get to, a get a glipse into the life. It’ll be short – and then I will have to return to reality and take a break from the life I love. For a more “practical existence.”

Bittersweet.

But nevertheless we are super stoked for Dec 11-13th!
